Ballarat Wildlife Park offers a unique and fun venue for kids parties suitable for children aged up to 12 years.

Age Requirements

Children up to 12 years old

Party Sessions

Choice of Morning Session (9:30am - 12:00pm) or Afternoon Session (1:00pm - 3:30pm) on Saturdays and Sundays

$35.00 per child 5-12 years old $19.50 for children 4 and under

Bushman's Hut

2.5 hour use of our Bushman’s Hut function space

Hand Feeding

A bucket of kangaroo food to enjoy hand-feeding our free-roaming kangaroos, emus & alpacas

Daily Presentations

Join any of our daily presentations per normal scheduling

Catering

Includes:

Hot food – party pies and sausage rolls, cocktail frankfurts, chicken nuggets, potato chips

Beverages – unlimited water and cordial 

Additional catering for adults can be arranged at a cost of $60.00 per platter for hot food or mixed sandwich platter (platters serve 6 guests) or bowls of hot chips for $15.00 each

Dietary requirements can be catered for if provided in advance.

Important Information

  • Minimum payable numbers - 10 Children
  • Our birthday parties are suitable for children up to the age of 12.
  • A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • Animal encounters or private group presentations are available at an additional cost. Booking required, please enquire.
  • Full payment is required on the day of the Birthday Party.
  • Adults must accompany and supervise children at all times. Ballarat Wildlife Park takes no responsibility for the safety and supervision of your guests.
  • 2 adults are included free of charge, additional adults are invited to enter the park at a discounted rate of $30.00 pp.
  • Crunch the Crocodile feeding time is usually 3pm every Saturday and Sunday. Please check on arrival for any changes.
  • Please note that we do not allow balloons into the park.
  • There is an $80.00 surcharge for all parties that are booked on a public holiday.

The Bushman’s hut area is available for hire for any events such as; social club gatherings, Christmas parties or family functions.

Catering

BWP platters can be organised prior to your function. POA. Food trucks and caterers welcome, please discuss with our friendly team.

Complete with wood fire and seating for up to 60 people, your group will enjoy a private function, nestled amongst the gums.

Furnished with hardwood picnic tables and
benches, the hut is closely located to the
restrooms, souvenir shop and cafe,
allowing easy access to the park’s facilities.

With the option of including a private animal
experience, as well as joining in on the interactive presentations during the day, you are guaranteed to have a unique function at the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
