Parties & Functions

Have your next party with the animals!

Ballarat Wildlife Park offers a unique and fun venue for kids parties suitable for children aged up to 12 years.

Age Requirements

Children up to 12 years old

Party Sessions

Parties are available for either a Morning Session (9:30am - 12:00pm) or an Afternoon Session (1:00pm - 3:30pm) on both Saturdays and Sundays

Cost

The cost is $35.00 per child or $19.50 for children 4 and under

Entry into the Wildlife Park

Bushman's Hut

2.5 hour use of our Bushman’s Hut

Hand Feeding

A bucket of kangaroo food to enjoy hand feeding our free roaming kangaroos, emus & alpacas

Daily Activities

Join our great daily activities commencing at 12 noon

Catering

Catering is included and consists of:
Hot food platter – party pies and sausage rolls, cocktail frankfurts, chicken nuggets, potato chips, unlimited water and cordial (bowl of hot chips available for $15.00) – please let us know if there are any dietary requirement. Additional catering for adults can be arranged at a cost of $60.00 per platter for either a hot food platter or mixed sandwich platter option (platters serve 5-7 guests)

Important Information

  • A minimum of 10 children is required.
  • Our birthday parties are suitable for children up to the age of 12.
  • A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • Animal encounters are available at an additional cost (most of our encounters can include up to four people, bookings are required).
  • Full payment is required on the day of the Birthday Party.
  • Adults must accompany and supervise children at all times.
  • 2 adults are included free of charge, additional adults are invited to enter the park at a discounted rate of $30.00 pp.
  • Crunch the crocodile feeding time is 3pm every Sunday.
  • You are welcome to bring along additional catering for your guests.
  • Please note that we do not allow balloons into the park.
  • There is an additional charge of $80.00 for all parties that are booked on a public holiday.

The Bushman’s hut area is available for hire for any events such as; social club gatherings, Christmas parties or family functions.

Catering

BWP platters can be organised prior to your function. POA. Food trucks and caterers welcome, please discuss with our friendly team.

Complete with wood fire and seating for up to 60 people, your group will enjoy a private function, nestled amongst the gums.

Furnished with hardwood picnic tables and
benches, the hut is closely located to the
restrooms, souvenir shop and cafe,
allowing easy access to the park’s facilities.

With the option of including a private animal
experience, as well as joining in on the interactive presentations during the day, you are guaranteed to have a unique function at the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
